Intercultural competence: key to effective Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Programs
It is by now well known that cultural diversity has the potential to drive growth and innovation in any organisation. However, the benefits of cultural diversity are only achievable when there is inclusion. Inclusion means actively acknowledging and understanding cultural differences and similarities and how they affect values, attitudes, and behaviours in the workplace. This is where intercultural competence comes into play. Intercultural competence is about recognising our own cultural conditionings, understanding those of others and creating strategies to work together, bridging the cultural gaps. In this workshop we aim to help you make your Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) programs be more successful by understanding, appreciating and managing differences related to leadership, communication and building trust across cultures.
